I prep to avoid inflation and food shortages etc, I plan to bug in if TSHTF, but have a small tent, sleeping bag, bedroll in case I have to bug out. I have a huge trailer for my bicycle if I have to bug out, I have tools for the bike.
I'm learning to grow my own food, in the next few years I want to learn to make solar panels, and cobble shoes, and next year I'm helping my SIL to build a wooden house, which I'm really looking forward to
As time goes you'll discover what is important to you and your family, have fun doing it, and don't bore the neighbors, they have long memories
