Hey all,

just a quick hello from a new member and a new prepper. I am a 29 yr old trainee teacher living in Sheffield currently learning how to herd cats.....I mean teach primary children sorry in advance for all the know-nothing questions! I've been lurking here for a week or so and I've learnt so much already. thanks for the great website, its so packed with info I'm having to take it a section at a time

as my name implies I have a complete love of lots of food related homesteading crafts. cutneys, jams, homebrew, cures and preserves in general really get me excited, but its time for me to stop playing and really get serious about prepping for more than a lack of onion relish come February!
