Well not to sound sexiest lol but the lady of the house has said when we sit out in the bbq area again she is lighting the chimnea as i tend to just throw 2 or 3 fat wood on and then pile in the the birch faggots then a few thicker bits then light the fatwood and just let it get going nice and strong thne pop in the logs as and when but as i say the lady of the house has said she wants to be in charge of fire lighting and no cheating using a long reach fire lighter lol , hei say why struggle but as i say she wants to practise with just flint and steel and mag rod and doing it the old way so i say if she is happy and having fun life is easy for me .
We alsi do some incinirator burns rubbish and so on not meant to as smoke free here but everyone else does ligght firers and we like to get rid of the paperwork that if the worms are not eating needs to be destroyed .Plus it give us a reason to sit out and madam to use there telescopes yup the stars at night are very bright and the hot choc lovely and warm also that chimnea throws out heat like you can not imgiane
