thank you all so much for the warm welcome! Choc and wine it is then dont you just love the barter system just having my dineing room repainted in exchange for a masterclass in deer prep covering skinning and tanning, butchery and uses of all parts of the animal apologies to any vegetarians! More than happy to give reduced rates for like minded people you never know when you might need them but also what you learn from them if people let me know best way so i dont break any advertising laws i will let you have the website but please be assured my whole reason for being here is to chat to you guys not look for business we are lucky enough to be very busy! I will chek out all other topics and add my views, i have been doing this a long time and have spent many ocasions living in less than ordinary circumstances all over the world i am so passionate about being able to look after oneself and family, i was listening to radio 2 yeaterday about a town in devon where 3 big factories have shut laying off 800 people in a small town the topic was what do they do for 90 days till the government starts paying for the mortgage and bills etc, i wonder how many wish with hindsight they prepared a bit when times were good! next on my shopping list is a fuel bowser!

Hi Red Doe, we tend to use the brain if poss but depending on the group we also use eggs. I have had a really good look through the forums and there is a great balance of topics, from my point of view obvoiusly the bushcraft stuff is interesting to look at espeially peoples perception of it and what it entails. We have over 1000 acres of woodland to play in perhaps we could think about doing a gathering of anyone who wanted to meet up?
