Just brought a log splitter from Aldi
Reduced from 19.99 to 9.99
Is a foot operated system
Wive wasn't happy we don't have a log burner but do have a pioneer stove for just in case

May pop in for a tenner.. however I wouldn't pass up a decent axe for one...

I bought a proper maul from the local cattle market ten years ago. It has split TONNES of logs,and kept me fit. Low tech every time for me.

Last summer I convinced the wife that I needed a hand axe to chop a huge ivy trunk in our garden. So we have an axe now... :D
