Another newbie from Devon

Post by monkey777 »

Hi all

Right firstly i have to admit it was my husband that got me thinking about how we could survive if the worst case scenerio ever happened. He is forever on the internet reading different articles! I had not really given this any thought until recently and now think it is actually stupid not to be prepared. It is actually quite frightening how fragile society is when you start looking deeper into what could and might happen - from disastous weather to fuel shortage to any number of potential disasters that mean we need to be able to survive.

So joining this site i hope to learn alot and become a prepper!!!!!

It is quite rightly frightening. The fabric of our society is very fragile. But take solace in the knowledge you are not alone. Joining this forum you will realize the importance of a community of like minded people who will come together in times of hardship and help each other muddle through. :D

Hi

Thank you - I have been reading various posts over the last couple of days and realised my husband is not bonkers after all :D It is amazing how many other people are 'preparing' for a potentially life threatening situation. I hope to learn lots from this site and begin our own prepping and share anthing we find that will be really useful with others.

Erm...you're my wife, yeah?

Just kidding!
I recently experienced Plymouth City centre so that's why I prep.
