Hi I am Gaz and new to this site and live just north of Derby
lots of experience in survival and bushcraft type stuff but new to prepping in general and currently looking for bug out locations etc.

Hello and welcome from another newby. As to BOL 's being just north of Derby the first thought would be probably to head a little further north to the peak district but would that idea also occur to others near you and the great unwashed from such places as Manchester?

Yes that is a problem with the Peak District apparently 60% of the UK population are an hours drive from Buxton!
So I am checking Out Cannock Chase at the moment and the Peaks
