I joined this site because I'm looking to build up a sensible supply of goodies in case of some short term issue like flood, fire or power outage. I'm not really concerned about zombie-attack-doomsday-scenarios, but I guess if the worst happened, I would have a stock in of useful stuff to last me long enough to get to a place of safety. As you have already guessed, I'm a newbie at this, so all your various advices are welcome. I have a budget of £5.00 per fortnight for extra food, and £5.00 per fortnight for non-food items. Anyway, looking forward to meeting you all in due course.
