Hi All
The name is Pat,
I'm 49, from Ireland, now living in Warrington, where I've made a good friend of a keen prepper called Ray who recommended I join UK-Preppers. I've back-packed and slept rough all over Europe for several years but settled down now and have 4 grandkids, I'm not too worried about myself when the SHTF but I am keen to start prepping for their future. Even have a BOL picked out in another country where secluded property is cheap. I've been able to get some good tips from reading the forum but at last I can contribute, ask what might seem like stupid questions and share info that I find elsewhere.

Unwise advice from my grandmother - Don't worry, it might never happen and if it already has it's too late to worry.
Wise advice from my grandmother - If the doctor has a hand on each of your shoulders.... it isn't his finger

Hello and welcome to the Forum.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Hi,
I'm new to the site (and prepping) but have been thinking that the time is now for a while.
I'm in Warrington, and have a good knowledge of camping and out door pursuits but am always willing to learn more
Also if anyone has any advice for what to start looking at, I would be most appreciative.
Please forgive me if I ask any daft questions, but I will always try to read other posts and use the search first
Regards
Rob
