Is there any where around here to go camping were you can practise all the survival training. Fire, trapping and basic skills.

The nearest that I've found is near Edwinstowe. The army uses a large training area but they hardly never work at the weekends. So the chance of getting asked to leave is very low.

I thought I mite try and teach my kids some stuff before they hit the teenage years and hate me for being. Well for just being.

There's a bush wackers day in shirewood pines in April cost is £10 per person, orientated towards the family if you would like to hide a fun day with a bit of education for the family.
