Despite living in Sheffield all through my childhood, I did my growing up in the Peak District, Youth Hostelling, elicit camping, walking and climbing.
Started my prepping interest with Survival for Young People by Tony Greenbank (anyone else remember that book?).
My interests currently lie in bushcraft, air gunning and general outdoors.
I am a Teacher of Outdoor Education, so basically I get paid to do what I would be doing if I didn't have a job (I just have to take a few kids with me).
Prepping currently is limited to having a shed load of outdoor kit close at hand, a knife always in my pocket, and a torch/fire steel/cordage/whistle always on my keyring. Also, a regular opportunity to practice the skills e.g. did a fire steel fire lighting session yesterday, and tea was open fire hotdogs with my grandson.
