Hello from North Scotland
Hi everyone. I am 34, living in north east of Scotland. Been interested in this for such a long time but only recently had disposable income to make a start. Have very basics for a BoB so far; 35l Karrimor bag and smaller swat tote bag. Canteen with cooking cup, machete, hexi-cooker, comprehensive medical kit, lock pick sets & mica sheets, paracord bracelet, entrenching tool thats a saw, axe, hammer and shovel. fold out cutlery, wire saw, binoculars, clothes, tin with the usual contents, torches, wind up radio etc. Dont think i'm doing too bad so far but really nice to find a friendly board like this to join. All advice very welcome and so glad there is this growing group in the UK!

Welcome Penguins - sounds like you're well on the way. I'd be interested to know what circumstance you're preparing for. Also, are you currently in a built-up area, what are you bugging out from and where to?
