Welcome to the forum, hardcider!
What was it made you want to start prepping? What bits of your BOB do you need to carry on with as yet? Just wond'ring

Re: getting started
what got me started was every time i turn on yhe tv i hear words like hyper inflation, peak oil, global warming, etc etc any one of these would cause chaos.
as for the BOB i think i have all the basics sorted but could do with a good water filter bottle and maybe up grade some of the existing kit.

I ain't no expert and I don't think that there is such a thing as an expert in this field. I guess just start and see how you get on and carry on adding to it all bit by bit.
I cant do much, so i do what i can and hope for the best.
Bit by bit.

Totally agree with you about a water filter - I bought a good'un late last year - to my shame, I haven't actually unpacked it yet, but I reckon I have enough water stored so that if I needed to use it, I've got enough time to learn
alternatively, I'd better do it by the end of the month, say!
