Re: preppers in cornwall?
Hello and welcome. Love kernow but sadly. I most proberly never live there as I can't stand tourists and always try to visit out of season. Any way who are you prepping for and why do you feel that you need to prep.

hey there, your in a perfect place to be prepping! I lived in St Austell for a few years and a village just out of liskeard. We had a few situations like power cuts, snow etc. Prepping will be a very valuable thing to do down there so good luck and hope you do well

Hi all, just for powercuts, floods and the like although i do expect this planet to go tits up pretty soon. I have been interested in sustainability and bushcraft for a long time made sense to make sure iv got things covered
Re: preppers in cornwall?
Welcome aboard, I think that sustainability and bushcraft are part of the way forward, bushcraft because Ray Mears style at any rate looks at effecient methods of doing things which don't produce loads of rubbish and are generally sustainable, (not that I think it would be if we all bug out together) i firmly beleive that the throw away society has got to change and that prepping as it did in times gone by plays a major part, yes I am talking food miles and local produce again, because the way we move stuff about so cheaply with oil wont last, and the things we have discarded like a bigger rail network, corner and local shops, and everything we once made ourselves that we now import, will be in demand again, I'm not giving up on technology and going all hippy, living in a comune type thing, just recognising that we threw out stuff we'll be crying out for before long aswell as that we need to find better ways too.
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.
