Hello all

Wow, thank you for your warm welcome. I have been browsing all the useful threads on here, and only now popped back to see your posts.

I have so far:

Equipped my car in preparedness for more bad weather (slow release snacks, shovel, juice, tools, spare clothes, fleece blankets x 2, water, wind up torch which is also a radio, and has option of red flashing light, kitchen roll, nappy bags,carpet pieces for gripping if needed); also checked spare tyre and jack. Ensuring tank is kept filled, oil etc. checked.

I have begun 2 BOB's for me and OH; need to do one for the dog too.

Started storing extra tins, and compiled a list of items, so I know what's there and what needs replacing.

Printed out useful things on here, and just finished putting it all together in a ring binder folder, sorted by emergencies, food, equipment, clothing & one diy project.

I can see I have a long way to go to be truly prepared, many thanks to you all who have gathered so much info on here already, it's a fantastic resource!
