long time reader and thinker. but only recently made any inroads into the practicalities.
i grow a few veg in my back garden as practice and have an interest in old technologies as well as high tech solutions.

So, what are you prepping for and why are you here?

Welcome, by the way!

hi.
im not prepping for any specific thing. who knows what could cause those skills and preparations to be required. iv just long had this feeling that if something happened id rather have tried to be ready for it, then not have tried at all.
im here to know like minded people and increase my knowledge and skills in as many aspects of preparation as possible.

its kind of like pascals wager. if i prepare and there is no reason to in my lifetime, i havnt lost as much as if i dont prepare, and there is. and anyway, most aspects of it seem enjoyable or at least interesting so far.
