Thank you for opening the site to new members. My interests at the moment are preparing for the more likely bad weather and self sufficiency that comes with these scenarios. However I am increasingly interested in the other scenarios as I read more on this site. I have a background in mainstream health care and the beginnings of alternative health care knowledge.
I have been prepping for years without the title of a prepper as I was brought up to grow as much as possible, store it and get ready for the next year. I am keen on handicrafts of all types.
My husband has despaired of my lack of interest in gadgets and is really amazed how much I have learnt through the site. My only proviso is it has to be gadgets that are able to work away from mainstream services.
We live in Devon but have already started our winter power cuts.
