Dear All,

I turned 18 earlier this year but have been lurking on this site for a while. I did try to find my previous account but it must of been deleted due to inactivity so I have had to use my other email address to create this new account.

My name is Dan and I'm from the top of the south west, in my final year of A levels and going to study electronic engineering next year with the army. If you are interested and would like to know you can drop me a PM.

Apart from that I'm glad that I am finally able to be a active member of this forum and not the grey man lurking in the shadow!

Welcome. What actually interests you about prepping?
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

I'm currently not a massive prepper and only really actively EDC whilst storing a basic set of supplies. However one of my largest so called preps would be knowledge and skill set. Although not an extensive supply I find the knowledge of self sustainability in a situation beyond normal interesting. So I try to research as much as possible and gather items/qualifications which I believe to worth while for the moment due to a small budget as a student.

I try not to say SHTF situations due to the extent of these situations, I would be most likely drafted into the armed forces as part of my scheme I'm under through uni as well as my future job in the services.

Hello and welcome to the Forum. Well done on joining the Army, and remember if you can't take a joke never volunteer.
