Welcome into the light. :)
With 5 years of prepping, I expect you have some insights to share. What sort of scenarios do you prep for? What sort of preps do you have?
We can feel a bit smug can't we? And certainly vindicated for our odd behaviour over recent years. A great time to 'out' yourself to the Other Half ( if you have one ) but of course, we keep our preps discreet from non-preppers.
Graceful Degradation! Prepping's objective summed up in two words. Turning Disaster into Mild Inconvenience by the power of fore-thought

Welcome to the forum, Mary/Jenny, good to have you on board. I hope you haven't been caught up in the craziness of the lorries, nor are likely to be. Prepping needs to cover the oddest things, doesn't it.

Hello there
I am quite fond of kent. Hoping to move there one day.
Country gal, and places like Dungeness, Blean and Dene amongst some of my usual haunts in more usual times.
More the outdoorsie type than prepper perhaps.
So welcome.... just grab a six pack an a lawn chair.......

We get many members who join, introduce and never return. Not suspicious at all.

I'm not suspicious, but I do get confused when people do that - give themselves an internet pseudonym and also tell people another name in the post ... I don't get it. But that's me, not them. If Mary/Jenny comes back, I'd love to hear from her about that, just for interest's sake.
