Looked again about 4 weeks ago and what a change.

Silver now at £19.17 oz
Gold now at £1244.42 oz

Out of interest, are any of you buying at these prices?
5 years ago I got Maples and Brittanias at between 16.50 - 18.00. On BullionbyPost tonight a Britannia (2021) would cost £33.96 if they had them in stock lol.
Same, I got all of mine for around the £16.00 mark. I don't have 0000s of ££ worth, but what I've got has definitely appreciated. Mine are a long term investment. Once the price drops I'll start buying again - but definitely not yet.

Price seems to be easing back...

Gold £1,508.61

Silver £18.12

Silver still being undervalued.

True but difficult to find at spot. Pre 1920 coins go for way over scrap almost everywhere now sadly, even small quantities of scrap sterling are getting hard to find without a huge markup

I have a lot of pre 1920 coins. I would not want to be buying now though.

The gold is creeping up steadily and holding.Silver is rather volatile; last week it jumped to £21.
