Breadmaking flour

Post by Moorland Prepper »

For a while we have been using Lidl's white flour - excellent stuff at 59p for 1.5 kilos. Unfortunately they do not sell wholemeal flour.

Just been to Aldi and notice that besides white flour they also sell wholemeal flour for breadmaking, both at 59p for 1.5 kilos.

Bought a couple of bags of wholemeal to try but don't think that i will be disappointed

Online price for both around £1.50

I buy Sainsbury's Taste the Difference granary. Comes in a 1kg bag, makes absolutely delicious bread (I make the dough in a breadmaker and prove it in the airing cupboard).
