Some of you will know about this but I've just come across this on an Amish site. How to preserve eggs in their normal state for up to 2 years using the water glassing technique. In the UK the additive is Sodium Silicate and shop eggs won't work, they have to be unwashed and clean. Any dirty eggs just eat straight away. I'm going to try this in a small batch to see what happens.
