The introduction says we have forgotten basic skills over the last 50 years, and the library is being made available to help fill gaps in our knowledge should the shtf. Apparently, even the Amish buy-in the glass jars they use for storage. I thought they were totally self reliant! You learn something new every day, eh! 🙂
