Merino baselayer (ish) on the cheap

Post by shocker »

I picked up a couple of these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CALVIN-KLEIN ... 635-2958-0

...they have very slight defects, like a small hole, and the v neck may not be ideal but they make a decent undershirt.
They seem to have a few so maybe someone may benefit. No relation to me, just passing it on.

Good spot.

A Army surplus store a couple of years ago had a pallet full of British Airways scarves identical to this:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304262577595 ... SwD1phtjAJ

they were being sold for a £1 a scarf

100% lambswool.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

If you have a nosey around the charity shops, you can sometimes find merino wool for base layers, unfortunately for me rarely do I find in my size.
If at first you don't succeed, excessive force is usually the answer.
