Re: Fellow forward thinkers
Hey Richard, Do it. I don’t think you will regret it. Ours was an incredibly fun group, you also developed a morbid sense of humour. Scenario practice gets your mind re-wired. I used to panic at the sight of blood. Because I was worried for the other person, that they would get infected or worse ble...

Re: Bio diesel
I feel that for everyday use this is good! Price of diesel here is around £1.30!!!!
Only thing is the bit of research i have done on them seems to require fairly “clean” oil, whereas i would want to be using the used stuff from restaurants, etc which partially defeats the purpose for me. :S

Re: Coal briquettes
Perhaps a stupid question here but is it healthy to burn cement? Aren’t the particles bad for our lungs?
I love the idea in principle though, I am looking at trying to make some briquettes which will probably end in some sort of disaster now if me.

Re: chickens.... help
How are you getting on with the chickens?
Did they all start laying in spring? Did you make them any more perches/toys?
Someone I knew said that they used to go out select a chicken and wring its neck as a child.

Fellow forward thinkers
Hello fellow forward thinkers! 8-) I have been prepping in some fashion since I was little so I actually gathered a bag and dedicated it my earthquake supplies (but I would have used for any emergency). My entire family took great amusement out of this and mocked me for years. By that time we ...
