Re: How much is enough?

Storing food IS about actually having it to eat, not as a money making venture methinks. Too right mate, I was saying in a round about way that prepping beats saving at this point in time, if corned beef goes back down I'm getting some more, and if anyone has any clues about potential imminent food...

Re: What Preps are you doing this week

I bought some tinned burgers from Farmfoods today, been meaning to for a while, and I reckon tinned meat at the moment if you can find it cheap is an investment as much as a prep, it is probably that many of us preppers have made more in terms of increased value of our goods, than many could have ma...

Re: Hello from the forest

OK I did it but i fear you are all going to think Plymtom’s been watching too much TV and you’d be right  yet bits of Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s foraging and community growing/farming stuff and Kevin McCloud’s Grand designs touching Eco housing along with many others Jimmy Doherty, Jamie Oli...

Re: Hello from the forest

I think my train of thought was really to ilustrate how for most of the country it may be as I feel it would be in our locallity, a rural invasion of townies with some survival knowledge (albeit practically no experience) spreading out like locusts, simply buggering up their own and anyone elses cha...

Re: Hello from the forest

Hello Diggerg66, I figure you may be a good one for this question, I don't get out much so genuinely have no idea, when you say the woods are vast you see, around these parts not going far the woodland gets lots of recreational use, you may call it crowded at times  so is there trueley anywhere...

Re: Hello from Plymouth

Much of Cornwall is fairly easily accessable from Plymouth, in a normal world anyway, Plymouth SHTF would be a nightmare it's full of bottlenecks which if you've ever been here when it's started snowing you'd know exactly what I mean, and it's pretty hillly no one wants to get caught in it so everyo...

Re: YOU SURVIVED THE APOCALYPSE!!! WHAT NEXT???

The school looks like an idea, around these parts there's a few military bases, even warships, but schools, prisons, hotels, old fortifications, all posibillities, chances are in the event where you would finnish up would be integral and instrumental to surviving an Apocalypse.
