Re: 2M/70CM ROLL UP J-POLE/SLIM JIM ANTENNA

I run several different systems now and thoroughly enjoy building my own antennas. What I have learned will definitel...

Re: Frequently asked Quetions
Having recently passed my Foundation course the Morse was very easy. To pass, the candidate must be able to show an appreciation for morse and this is done in the following way (on my course anyway): The morse tutor will send a 5 or 6 worded message. This is done at the candidate's read speed and ca...

Re: Baofeng UV-5R
Congratulations. Try for the Intermediate. A bit more power if you pass and the course is heavily practical. Wingfoot Given that location do you show up on http://www.cheshiresdr.co.uk/ which is based near Chester? I used to work near Hack Green years ago. It was not well known and initially I assu...

Re: Under £5 hobo cooker kit
I have tried several times to make a hobo burner out of different drinks cans and fail each time. The main problem is getting the top over the bottom, even after crimping. The top half always splits........ If anybody has a spare I will keep trying and will no doubt crack the process.

As the original poster back in July of last year I would like to make it clear I started the thread in order to share what I considered to be a very good product at a reasonab...
