This may not be the right place to make this query, but it's the best I can do. I've received a private message and can't find a button or other means to enable me to reply; the sender may consider me discourteous. It may be that being as I'm on "probation", I'm not yet able to send priva...

Re: Pallet Wood quality Question
Just a caveat , this does assume the bases of the shed sides are intact and not rotted . They can also be replaced insitu but it's a fiddly job. The bottom of the shed sides ARE rotten! The frame and some of the bottom panels. So, raising the sides with wedges won't work. Hence the idea of stilts w...

How are you finding your power costs? Personally we don’t consider our power usage and cost to be over the top. Don’t get me wrong,it is expensive compared to let’s say a couple of years ago,but our way of living is economically viable. Nor do I / we earn a load of money either. But of course,that’...

Does this go where the hose was, on the stop tap, or does it replace the stop tap and go on the brass pipe? I suspect the latter but not sure. On the end where the plastic hose "nut" screws to the washing machine isolation valve I've also a stock of random plumbing bits both Yorkshire sol...

Bought a new (to me) car, now looking to source five steel rims as I don't trust alloys on the local roads..... Not when the potholes and patches make them look like moon maps. Anyone know where I can get a jerry can spout to fit a real military can? I have a 10lt copy the spout fits fine, but not ...
