You might want to be careful with the postal address for insurance the companies are aware of people who live in their van full time but only insure for general use ,not all the extra things done in a van like heating, cooking.

Yes for some giving up the things we take for granted is the way ,but I would guess that many of those in trouble have already done this because the other options is sell or lose their home . With the unofficial war on motorists in full swing I can only see these ebikes and scooters becoming ever more popular. What government has to do now is to make sure these thimgs are built to a british/European standard ,some sort of test like the cycling proficiency test and insurance. These things...

Those scooters and ebikes are a good idea I hope it's something like the evolution of mobile phones, who rembers ...the brick... compared to what we are used to today.
