Re: do you have any strange health remedies?

Back went so put a big dollop of tiger balm in a hot bath- that works though there is a bit of degreasing to be done afterwards.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 8.

Totally! I have a big bag of treat size chocolate bars, normal chocolate bars, and ingredients (other than cream) to make trifle. Also honey/syrup/oats for emergency flapjacks.

Re: 2 Person tent

Now, at the risk of being called a dinosaur I would suggest a good old fashioned vango force 10 mk4. Does weigh an absolute ton (even more when wet) but if there's two of you then you can split the load and it'll last through any and everything (including the zombie apocalypse followed by a nuclear ...

Re: FFP3 with valve or with out valve

With my professional "working with ventilated patients" head on - an ffp3 mask is an ffp3 mask, as long as it is properly fitted there is no difference in efficacy between valved and unvalved.
Getting a correct fit is the crucial factor in their effectiveness.

Re: Out of interest home security

An alternative to relatively expensive plywood (and you could apply now) would be self adhesive plastic sheet on the windows. There's a variety available designed to stop the glass shattering (but it will still crack) if a toddler cycles into or (heaven forbid) a half brick is thrown at it.

Re: Long-Term Food

Just found a bag of tescos marshmallows in a cupboard, best before date of October 2018. Absolutely fine to eat. Well, four of us ate them, my wife refrained so at least she'll be able to post an update if it turns out they weren't OK after all
