Decided to get some more hens as my old 'ex batt' hens are not laying anymore (egged out!) So I've made up a new hen house from parts of an old garden shed ready to house my new girlies. 🙂

Been making up netted panels to keep pigeons off my terminating peas and wheat! Potted up some seedlings in little poly tunnel.

The company of mr bobble. I reckon you can get by without some "stuff" but it would be quite hard to "thrive" without someone to chat to!

I was aware of various "threats" over the years but the event which actually "woke me up with a shock" was the Sep 2000 tanker drivers strike. My dad was due to come home from hospital with a care package for home help and "meals on wheels", then everything stopped and he had to go to a nursing home...
