Re: Sipp

Pensions Advisory Service is free and was helpful for us. What I did learn was that if you take some of your money at the age of 55 there is then a limit about how much you can pay into your remianing fund each year.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week? Part 8.

Ive read up on all of the tips but nope! I grew a whole load of tomatoes from seed in the spare room and they were amazing...

Re: Live on an uninhabited island and get paid for it.

I have just seen this! Chance to regenerate the vegetable garden too. I quite like the sound of it but would be met with "oh sounds great" and then nothing. I am slightly more adventurous and more of a risk taker than my husband, but then he is perhaps a little more down to earth. We are very much c...

Obviously checks were carried out and masks worn etc. Got ta we can clean your teeth for you today, but not the usual way due to restrictons. He picked at the plaque with a sharp...

Re: Container gardening

Really hope that you have a good harvest Moorland Prepper. I watered all my containers and raised beds earlier too. Might harvest a bit of rhubarb tomorrow for a crumble.

Potatoes are easy to grow in bags, cut and come again lettuce are simple to grow. We seem to be able to grow broccoli easily in raised beds/containers but caulis are anoth...

Passing the hug, with permission of course! I've found myself in the situation of work starting to affect me both physically and mentally. Shift work is taking it's toll after many years and I have made the decision to reduce my hours. We aren't rich by any means and neither do we have amazing priva...

Re: Super Long Life Food

I have a pretty good store of food, mostly tinned, jars and packets but some home dehydrated and stuff in the freezer which isnt reliable in the case of long power cuts. I have just invested in a few packets of freeze dried emergency meals for the truck box and am considering buying a couple of cans...
