Re: So what have we learnt?

Totally agree. How many times can they repeat what we have to do in this crisis? It's also like the media are willing the government to extend the lockdown. The sublimimal messages in the questions they ask the gov't question times is all to obvious. The media are willing the death count to rise.

Cheers Deeps. I've just found an EBL battery charger that connects to a USB lead for £9. :D

Re: Solar Battery charging.

Thanks for the advice everyone, it's much appreciated. I've got to admit, I'm not that clever with electronics, how would I connect my Technoline charger to the solar panel?

Happy New year to everyone :D

Solar Battery charging.

Hi everyone.
I've got a few bob for Chrimbo; I'm thinking of spending it on batteries and chargers. It got me thinking, is there a solar panel, that would charge batteries? Any recommendations or opinions would be great, as well as ideas on where to buy AA batteries.

Thanks

Phil

Re: Money suggestions

Hi Deep thinker.

Why don't you get an allotment? At under £100 a year, it's much cheaper than buying the land.

Re: Finally settled on a knife less multi tool

Just under £55 at Amazon.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gerber-30-000952-Bladeless-Multi-Plier/dp/B00KYO627M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453189456&sr=8-1&keywords=Gerber+Multi-Plier+600+-+Bladeless Yes it is cheaper, but you don't get a free Torch worth £19 ;-) However, that torch is only £10....

Re: New small holder

Hi there Montblanc and welcome to the forum. It sounds like your life has been varied and interesting; I'd love to have a beer with you and listen to your Vietnam experiences. How big is your small holding, do you keep any live stock? A few pictures of the Kentucky countryside would be most welcome....
