Re: Asthma - Long term solutions?

I agree with you, rural areas up to mid July are likely to be an issue especially in the south of the UK for Asthma sufferers, the only positives is the effects are much less in the northern part of the UK. And of course if society collapses and motor vehicles stop running the reduction in particula...

Re: Hand sanitiser

We bulk buy trays of hand sanitizer from places like Makro or Costco, or if on offer in the Supermarkets.

Re: Asthma - Long term solutions?

I don't want to appear contentious but if serious asthma sufferers cannot come up with a suitable treatment that is not reliant on the modern pharma industry then they are going to have to focus on the attack trigger mechanism eg usually air pollution be it diesel particulate or grass pollen or what...

local standardisation of comms and cars?

I'm new here and I was wondering if any of the local or regional groups had managed to agree on any standards for their local group such as make and model of 2w radios or vehicles? Most of the people I know appear to be harmonising on Baofeng UV5R radios and many are getting basic ham licences. I na...

NBC attack, disposing of dead bodies after a pandemic, escaping burning buildings, exploring collapsed tunnels etc in cities, cycling through heavily polluted areas? there is a huge range of masks, respirators, filters, canisters etc to choose from?. I keep a set out mout...

I'm not prepping for one single event, but I'm biased towards economic collapse, extreme weather events, terrorism etc, I have been into " survivalism" :D for many decades.

Re: My New Tarp

Hi, I find tarps essential parts of my preps, I keep a couple I bought in the US in the back of my vehicle they are made from a ripstop material so if I snag the tarp it does not tear much, I also keep a couple at home along with polyprop rope and elasticated rope for emergency repairs to property.
