When I was doing it, I personally, made a lot of my own clothing. Most reenactment groups have a wealth of internal skills within their members such as smiths, leather workers, carpenters etc and there are plenty of traders at shows who sell period items and a search on the net will bring up others....

I did 15th C. LH, for those who don't know, is a living display of a particular period in history. So doing things as they would have done. Learning as many aspects of a people who lived without what we take for granted and living that way at shows as an educational tool for the public. Things like ...

Hello from Hampshire
Hello! Im quite new to prepping and found it accidentally about a year ago. I realised then I already had a lot of useful knowledge from previously having been involved in living history (camping without modern stuff!) Its a good skill set that I'm glad I have and am happy to share.
