Made sure everything that shuts is shut.
Picked up all the small light things
Tied down the large flappy things.
Checked the Blackout Box.

Now sitting listening to the rain & wind and thinking about 'testing' the rum.

Those mushroom crates are everywhere. Any restaurant or cafe ,where they do a fry up will have them to go in the bin. We do do a dozen a week at least,and 2/3 gallon lidded buckets by the score. Just got to ask,as they now present a waste disposal problem. My local bakery sells all their lidded buc...

The cat litter we buy is made by a company who mostly make oil spill gear...... Its probably the same stuff in different packaging

Had a birthday...... Now I qualify for a free 'flu jab :D One of my gifts was a Bialaddin 305 (1955 M.O.D.) , BB reconditioned it before he gave it to me..... Now he's got to teach me how to light the thing. Thats a good addition to the lighting preps, just got to get in some more Kero as I've burn...

Are the jars heat treated or are you relying on on the mixture being too hostile to the 'bugs' (acid,sugar and alcohol)?
