Re: dahlia's as food ?
I only know that one off the telly, and she's a bit scrawny to use as a food source, as well as living quite a bit away in norwich. Couldn't we just eat the local varieties? The Mary's and elizabeths?

First attempt at growing veggies in pots
As part of my learning I am going to try ang grow some veggies this year. At the moment I don't have enough space or an allotment to actually do it on a decent scale but I was thinking of getting some good sized pots and putting them round the side of the house. I'm thinking some potatoes, onions, t...

Recent Snow - what have you learnt?
Over the last few days the country has been hit hard by the snow. (except here in central Scotland for a change) What I would like to konw is. What have you learnt as a result of this? Re: First prep today
Hi Folks, Many thanks for the encouraging replies. It's a great feeling knowing that I'm not alone in thinking this way. Had a discussion at the weekend with a friend who knew nothing about prepping. First prep today
Today I did my first prep. I deliberately bought extra rice and pasta when I went shopping. I know it's not much but at least I have started. Over the next few months I intend to get my stockpile up and get the other essentials we need for the coming economic collapse. It feels really good to start....

Hello from south Glasgow
Hi, my names Dave and I'm a prepper from just South of Glasgow. Brand new to this prepping but have a plan to withstand the coming financial collapse by making sure my family will live well for at least three years. How I'm going to do it, I don't quite know at the moment. But I am certain I've foun...
