Re: Pallet Wood quality Question
I’m with Yorkshire Andy on this. Pallets work. My main workshop was built with 3 concrete panel walls and the front overlapped PALLETS :D. As noted by YA as a good idea, mine were soaked in creosote and used car oil ,drained and fixed. 34 years ago! I also have a lot of picket fence made and treated...

Therefore we are storing 2 litre bottles in the pantry, and plenty. Easier bottle to exchange and rotate, and fill when empty to. JM you...

I hear moaning about fuel, and yes it is expensive. But what is required? Shelter, heat ,food and water! I am sitting watching a show about Russian rural workers, and they live primitively compared to our *technology* but they live rather well! All day the room I have sat in has had open fresh air,is ...

So where are Mr and Mrs J at now? I’ve been spending some time prepping * differently’* now I am poorly. In fact today is a sleep/ read/ sleep day . I’ve d one a lot this week,so I’m not guilty :D One of the first issues was paperwork. All sorted 👍 It puts domestic economics for my wife in place,so ...

Re: Gas canisters
I have DOZENS wrapped in plastic ( originally) in fireproof boxes in a cool outbuilding ( and fire safe) . 12 years old and perfect. In fact I’ve been reminding my wife how to cook-in an emergency with the same, and the methylated spirit cooker too.

Re: Advice for a hopeless gardener
Sorry, what do you mean by "The seeds right on the end"? Do you mean the ones to the outside edge of the cluster with new ground available to them? I guess I should harvest from the middle of the patch because those bulblets have less potential? The ones right on the end of each stalk on ...
