I suppose ive been a prepper all my adult life one way or other; long before the term " being a prepper" was used by many of the blind as a label denoting ones mental state. I try to go through life with my eyes wide open to suggestion by others ways, taking what i can from their experiences, whilst at the same time sharing my own.
I suppose the best way of introducing myself as a person would be to say im a middle aged family man looking for a way of life less complicated. As a prepper i suppose my drivers are to prep for social collapse, a collapse brought about by the rising cost of living. I suppose being a prepper along with my views on this, can be seen by some as extreme. Myself, I believe my open mindedness is not extreme but a simple view which maybe threatens their peace of mind.
And lets face it, if searching for my own peace of mind is a threat to others they need to open their eyes. Im one man with an idioligy rooted in looking after my wife and I, a threat to no one as long as you leave me alone. The biggest threat we face in the UK is ignorance, an ignorance in belief that should the s*** hit the fan the state will come to our aid.
This is where i hope the members of this forum will aid me in my search, where in return hopefully I will be able to throw some thought provoking ideas your way.
