Hello, British Preppers!

Post by CharlestonChauncey »

I hope y'all don't mind having an American on the board! My name is Chauncey, and I'm originally from Disputanta, Virginia, which is a tiny town outside of Petersburg, just south of the great Confederate Capitol, Richmond.
Now, I live outside of Charleston, which is where The War Against Northern Aggression/The War for States Rights began.
I'm just getting into prepping and hoarding. I do know a lot about guns and weaponry, though. I hope y'all can teach me about prepping, and I'll certainly help out with my knowledge of firearms and shooting things!
Chose this forum because I'm sick and goddamned tired of the elitism I've noticed among the American Prepping community.
I suffer from vertigo.

Hello and welcome. What are your main reasons for prepping?

Hi there Chauncey. I'm new here too and feel very welcome.

tell us about your weaponry. One thing that makes me green with envy is seeing how "y'all" can get your hands on some awesome weaponry for those dark days when bugging out is going to get dangerous. I'd love to come over and get trained up to use a gun, you never know when skills like that will be necessary.

Maybe its me watching too much of The Walking Dead!!!!

What are your self-defense laws like, junmist?

I'm assuming that licensed concealed carry is legal?

the self defense laws have changed giving us a sort of castle law ! but unlike in the USA you are still arrested while the police investigate what happened ! concealed weapons are a big no , and our firearms laws are well ultra strict!!!
