So caching can be an important part of anyone's prepping.
I have multiple places where I store the odd supply cache.
From caches off the beaten track and lock ups to supplies being held by the landlords and ladies of pubs which I've gotten to know.
I always find it best to be prepared for whatever comes your way. Especially if you're like me and you don't have a true place to call home.

I have done it (back in the day) And I've considered doing it for preping, but as I have several locations I could bug out to and most of them would have the basics I need anyway I'm still undecided.

While I can see why some would want to cache, its not something I do although I daresay I would in certain circumstances. If I knew that Casa Deeps was likely to be untenable for whatever reason I'd look to hide my stash or (I'm going proper 
on this one) if martial law was declared and you weren't allowed to hoard I'd look to hide food.
