Plastic ties, huge and small sizes
Small gas stove
Rations, powdered drinks and rehydration treatment
2 pieces of scrim, olive and dpm type cam

Norgy fleece
Spare shirt and underwear
Mora/light my fire knife with fire striked in the handle - tk maxx bargain :)

Small locking knife

Lanksy sharpening puck
4 straps, 2 quick release, 2 snaphook
Fire kit - matches, lighters, striker, tin has some pieces of inner tube and cotton wool type material
Headtorch x2
Black electric tape
100% deet mozzi repellant
Spare aa batteries
Sporks
Survival tin - incase the bag needs ditching
Minimap of my local area
Water/windproof gloves
Headover
Thinner set of gloves
Warm hat
Eye protection
Mobile phone powerpack thing
Little pouch full of various sewing kits
Some chemical detector paper and fullers earth - just because i have it
Bag full of cleansing wipes, puritabs and waterproof matches
Bunch of bin bags
First aid kit, loads of different pills, zinc oxide tape, savlon, vazeline, plasters and some gauze
Betadine antiseptic spray
Hand gel
2 first field dressings
Loads of para cord, 2 sizes
Length of thin bungie
4 metal pegs strapped to the bottom of the bag

As for the bits im missing, im looking around for a well priced crusader mug with a lid, im looking at a couple of fold up stoves and im looking to get a couple of bits of tarp.

It needs a rejig, im not sure im too keen on the 2 pouches on the outside so if i can readjust and do away with them i will, however im currently up in scotland approximately 530 miles from my other bits n bobs so that has to wait.

If anyone can suggest ditching stuff or bits ive missed then im very open to criticism!

Picked a goretex 95 dpm print brand new off a surplus stall on York market for £30 all the eBay stores seem to be knocking on £45...

I'm just not impressed with the hood drawstring arrangement im scared of snapping the lace in it

Not a bad price, ill check my local boot sale and surplus for them. Them drawstrings also seem to be angle to hang in your face no matter how you arrange the bag...

I recently picked up one of these: http://www.militarymart.co.uk/index.php ... ct_id=1897 at the carboot, I think of it as the common mans Dave Canterbury ;) Pretty solid bit of kit tbh.

Thats not a scandi grind on the big knife is it?

Nice kit. As you say, a couple more additions and you're all set.

Another vote for the French Army canteen set here too. Although in my current "72 hour" bag I am just using a poundshop aluminium bottle. I have a hydration bladder backpack, water filter and purification tablets to cover all the bases!
Area 5.

Looking for woodland for gear testing/overnighters ;)

Washkit! Noted, i have a bagged up washkit kicking around, ill simplify it and find space.
Its not scandi no its convex, im trying to get into carving so it had some pretty heavy use lopping through some pine and birch and then more actually carving, and without any touching up its edge is still very sharp, so sharp if i slipped it could probably nip my finger quite badly... probably
