Qr
A long; long time.

Variations are numerous but some multiplication of kit is down to it's reliability for example:

Each one has a shelter - either a tarp for a quick set up, up to a Varanger 8-10 lavvu for long term.

Sleeping bags vary from a woobie up to an arctic sleeping bag.

Water filtration - millbank to pre-mac to lifesaver to sawyer mini

All kit has been tried and tested and works for me.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Nice work. That is certainly something to aspire to.

Easy to answer!

Indoors, outdoors and at work - my Wenger penknife, with scissors. I use it at least half a dozen times a day, for everything from cutting up my lunch, to opening a bottle of Marston's Pedigree, as I am just about to do.

Out and about - my pocket First Aid kit and 'mini torch'.

My leatherman wave, on my belt all day every day last twenty years. Probably use it at least five times a day, from fine tuning mole traps to cutting snare pegs, cutting fly killer sticky boards, in fact the list is endless.

Pseudonym - is there a breakdown of all that kit on any threads on here? That really does look like something to aspire to.

I've been trying to find a Bergen that looks along those lines but the only place I know of that sells that stuff near me (Leicester) didn't have what I wanted and I want to try it on before I buy

I'm never without SAK, turbo flame 2 lighter, up until last week a paracord bracelet, and either LED lenser mini torch or klarus xt11 torch (depends on shorts or combats which changes pocket size)
