I saw them on Sons of guns, to say it enabled them to use a shotgun without having to wear earplugs would be a fair description, still not a stealth weapon yet lots quieter.

I got a portable compound bow press with my "me money" for the last few weeks and the usual overstock purchases, use one buy two on canned goods,TP, anything that will keep and wont break the bank :)
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

Just got a large shop delivered, more cans, water, medical, batteries etc. My stock pile is a little bigger now
oh and two new plastic storage boxes with lids, 2 for £5 at Asda. They aren't super sturdy but they will do for putting lighter things in.

I have been harvesting veg seed from the garden. My seed bill will only amount to potato and a new variety of tomato next year.

Piecing together several degrees of medical kit - a MINI EDC med bag, a larger 72hr-1week med kit and larger still reserve medical supplies.

Using http://firstaid.about.com/od/emergencyp ... aidkit.htm as a guide. Adding in some extras including potassium Iodate for thyroid protection and dust masks in the case of nuclear attack.

Also doing my research on nuclear.

- the two firesteels I ordered on Amazon have just arrived :)
- bought some solar garden lights for use in the home, same as the one I experimented with, got enough now.
- at the same time, bought a stupid keyring thing for a whole 99p, one of those multitool things - I'm annoyed with myself for doing it, but I didn't exactly break the bank
