Its a very telling sign that he instantly results to threat like behaviour as soon as the debate starts, then quickly turns to mocking etc. You MUST be level headed in a debate like this that carries lots of emotion. You loose it you loose the debate.
Aye, Morgan played him like a violin. He had a plan of just ask questions calmly and he will make a fool of him self.
Why the hell would you own 50+ guns? I mean, if you're a collector or involved in weapon sales then fair enough but he just comes across like a paranoid gun nut who is likely to shoot anyone who disagrees with him.

I love the whole "he has 50 guns thing" why does a number become important when you can only shoot one at a time?
I have ten, does that make me more dangerous than if I had one? Of course not.

I certainly makes you more capable, but I wouldn't hold that against you
I'd sooner he was locked up somewhere safe, than merely take his guns awayAll alex Jones proved was what a raving lunatic he is
Speaking as one who has a tendency to collect, I refuse to judge a person's sanity by their possesions, this very thread has shown how someone can appear intelligent and balanced and yet loose the plot a bit under the slightest preasure from an apposing opinion, I suppose it could be said that we all have a breaking point when pushed, but would we turn into a mass murderer? probably not and if we could detect those that might things would be easier.
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

Nah, the pen is mightier. It can be used to write legislation in parliament to ban them....12mp82 wrote:The pen may be mightier than the sword, but at 50mtrs the bullet is faster and more deadlier than the penshort circuit wrote:Why would you even need a firearm? something as simple as a pen could be used...even hunting a simple catapult"pebbles are cheap" is all you need and line float and fishing hooks anything more is just more to carry.

Hello,
I watched the Alex Jones thing.
Was he speaking on behalf of the gun lobby or the anti-gun lobby? Heh heh!
One thing though, he said if they come for their guns it'll be 1776 all over again.
Surely he meant 1861 all over again?
It's not us who want to take their guns off 'em!

The statement swings both ways Mick, if you had mass murder in mind two reliable identical guns and all the ammo you could carry would be the sensible thing for an insane person to do, whereas a keen hunter or collector would want variety, the quantity does indeed prove nothing on it's own.Capable of what exactly?
