Not quite correct Alan, right on readers but for phones.......


.....you can get the kindle app for any android phone or tablet , works great and will keep your books synced, ie I read on my phone or kindle at work and when I open the app on my tablet at home it goes to the page I left off at work, and dont forget kindle books are available in many places for free legally , and also illegally on pirate bay etc... :twisted:

With calibre you can convert to PDF TXT and a few others Aldiko on android is good and even though the screen is small you can read on a Blackberry and most modern phones. To remove the drm in calibre use "The DeDRM plugin for calibre" Tools v6.0.8 from http://apprenticealf.wordpress.com

Also figured out if I type the general topic I'm looking for in the kindle books search box, then sort them from low to high price in the preferences box, I can easily see any free ones!!! Todays challenge is just to figure out how to remove the DRM through Calibre on some of them. Am a bit of a technophobe, but I'll get there......

Thanx for that Alan.......I lasted 2 hours this morning trying to sort it all out......then 'other half' sorted it out in a heartbeat. They do that don't they!!!!

Thank you alan7 I have soooooo many books from that link now its a great resource and I would strongly recommend keeping an eye on it for all those that dont as they change daily it seems and have found some gems!
