welcome to the forum, I love Charleston, stayed in Mount Pleasant the last time I was there. The mozzies ate me alive tho.

your weapon list is pretty impressive even if you say it is nothing fancy, probably the same type of list that our farmers back in South Africa have.

Hi and welcome, Nice to have some views from America. From your list of weapons i have only ever used the Sig Sauer P-226 and the Glock 19, Glock being the one i would favor more.

I'm assuming that licensed concealed carry is legal?
Concealed carry, no. Pistols of any calibre over .22 pellets are illegal (even our olympic shooting team have to train over seas...)
At least as far as I'm aware... someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

A special act of parliament had to be passed to allow pistol shooters to compete at the London Olympics, otherwise they'd have to arrest a few hundred competitors

That's all over now so it's back overseas for our shooters. Think you can own a 9mm in the Isle of Man though, they like to be slightly different to prove they aren't part of the UK, even though they are :D

Hi, im also new here.
Gun laws as with most concealed weapons here are quite strict.
carrying just a knife can land you inside jail for a yr....

As I live in Cornwall, nice and rural, I have a shot gun and am looking into getting a new .22 air rifle.
love to fire some propper guns.

Hi Charleston Chauncey ( That's a bit of a mouthful). I've just joined the forum too. I'm looking forward to aquiring some of your knowledge on firearms. Yeah we Brits are a bit confused about self defense. On your side of the pond you have got some things right. Eg "Outlaw guns and the outlaws carry guns."

If our authorities(sic) knew my views they'd revoke my firearms certificate.

Despite a few cooks going berserk (see today'a headlines), don't follow us down that particular road.

Cheers
