Or on the other end of the 'portable' (ahem sort of) stove, try http://www.gisurplus.co.uk/shop/product ... field-oven. Its got 2 oven and sort of folds up and sits on 'skids' to help move it around.Good for a more permanent base-camp type of set up I guess :)

i get what your saying tom2tom but i can light a fire with various techniques my friend, there are two main purposes for a stove for me.
1. to cook on
2. to keep the tent warm
obvious there are other uses that i could use the stove for but these are the two main ones.
now moony, your talking dirty to me!!
i love that stove!!!
i got my card out and was about to order it when the voice of reason (the darling wife) shouted at me from behind!
"your not getting that monstrous thing!"
"it wont fit in the van"
"that has a chimney bigger than a power station"
so i had to put the wallet away, i am just wondering now what santa is going to bring lolol

i have a few of these that i am going to have a play with, they are the centre from reels of wire that i use at work, they get thrown away on the hundres a week, dimentions are:

100mm dia and 110mm high/long,

they are tin i think, but either way are going to be a great wind sheald for a meths stovewith the hole in the side at the bottom to adjust the ventilation and a couple of notches in the top for a pot stand, but i cant help thinking they may work some how as a hobo type wood stove on their own?
