The ammo cans were housing baton rounds, all I did was strip out the foam and paint the inside with liquid electrical tape to add an additional level of protection.hobo wrote:Are you thinking EMP? Hi Metatron, Do the cans need to be earthed? I'm just waiting for my first slingshot to come through as well as to increase my knowledge as to how to build slingshots, different materials, different methods of adding the rubber, different types of rubber, different types of sling, expected damage from different types of ammunition, shooting styles, conversion techniques for slingbow depending on different types of slingshot. Working out what is useful and what is not for slingshot design, also how to make a "David" or shepherd sling and how to shoot it, the effects of different arrangements of ammo (single ball and multiball) and their uses depending on desired result, also hypothetical defense capabilities in sniper activity.
There is a lot to learn even before I shoot the damned thing.

The key is nothing touches the walls of the can, grounding it to a radiator or earth on a wall socket is not really needed.StephenLee wrote:metatron wrote:StephenLee wrote:

I picked up a Eton G3 Globe Traveler radio and a long wire antenna for it yesterday in the sales. From the reviews it seems to be a well made feature packed sw radio. Its also far smaller then the Yaesu VR-5000 I use for home listening.
