What Preps are you doing this week

A 30ltr barrel will hold 25Kg of sugar so two barrels of sugar, and 20Kg of rice in a barrel so three of those, a few barrels of pasta as well.

After dismantling the inner parts of the stove, we managed to sweep the chimney. Borrowed kit from our neighbour who had just purchased them so saved ourselves some money. We can now light the fire -Hoorah!!

Soot put around the rhubarb as apparently they like soot!!

Emptied 2 compost bins onto 3 of the veg plots and got another compost bin off freecycle, so we have 6 on the go. Lots of lovely compost....

well it was a joint effort. OH pulled off the bins and then shovelled into the wheelbarrow. I then dumped the compost onto the beds. It is lovely compost!!!! Very pleased with it
And I hate it the day the clocks go back as all jobs are done and its not even lunchtime!!!
